We take staff happiness and wellbeing seriously, so we conduct an annual staff survey to make sure we continue to be a great place to work.
Our 2020 survey results show that we have maintained consistently high scores
despite the pandemic, and particularly highlight our great relationships with
co-workers and respect from the leadership team.
Professional development also scored highly, reflecting our dedication to developing our team and supporting their careers through training programs and mentoring.
Specific feedback from the survey included terms such as:
“Great initiatives during the lockdown”
“Flexible atmosphere”
“One-to-ones with leaders are very helpful”
“Really good work-life balance”
“Great team spirit and company”
“Opportunities for career growth”
We’re passionate about technology and keeping up to date with the latest tech news.
Our Tech Fridays form a core part of this. Delivered online so our colleagues can take part across our different locations, Tech Fridays provide a forum for sharing tech news and ideas, as part of our open, collaborative company culture. Taking place each month, these informal learning sessions are headed up by Jordi, our CTO. They are dedicated to understanding the latest tools and techniques in software development, as well as sharing interesting project developments.
In addition to Tech Fridays, we host external speakers, hackathons, and other in-house events to keep our skills and knowledge up to date.
We also enjoy regular Lunch & Learn sessions where colleagues share their non-coding passions, hobbies and expertise with the team while we share pizza. As well as internal events, we regularly attend and present at industry conferences throughout Europe. In recent years we have attended conferences in Barcelona, Berlin and Stockholm, and have had the opportunity to both share and gain knowledge.
These regular learning opportunities form just a small part of the training and mentorship program available to our team as part of our commitment to career development and teambuilding.
We’re a truly multicultural team, with over 10 nationalities represented across our offices in Belgium, Spain, Argentina and Sweden, and hope this number will grow even higher!
We embrace different cultures and believe this international outlook makes our teams stronger and even better at what we do.
As well as helping advance our business, our friendly, diverse working environment leads to great friendships within our team and an open, supportive culture.
